Gourmade by Chef Rob Lau – Losing weight while eating gourmet?!

I’m sure you’ve heard of countless portion-controlled meal delivery services. These services are either specifically for weight loss and other health constraints or just for the convenience of not having to prepare your meals yourself or not having to think where to eat! And that’s how I found out about Gourmade by Chef Rob Lau…

To be honest, it was actually just peer pressure. Most of my officemates are into this fad and the last thing I know, I’m in it too. I browsed Gourmade’s menu from instagram and the Pescatarian meal plan was just hard to resist. I mean, I love seafood and Gourmade’s Pescatarian menu just persuaded me to give it a go.

No regrets though! From the first day to the last, I was very excited to know what I’ll be having for the day and very excited to eat too! I ordered my meals for 2 weeks and here are my top 5 favorites!

Even though it’s supposed to be a diet, the meals are surprisingly full of flavor. I’ve tried other meal deliveries after Gourmade and I can say that there’s a gigantic gap in the taste department. However, Gourmade’s pricing is more costly too. I’ve noticed that other meal deliveries are ranging from 1,500 to 1,800 Php per week with free delivery charge for the 1,200 calorie plan. Meanwhile, Gourmade is on 2,000 to 2,400 Php range depending on the type of meal plan you’ll be choosing, exclusive of the 50 Php delivery charge per day.

Nevertheless, you get what you pay for. As I’ve said, I have tried other meal delivery services and nothing comes near to Gourmade’s overall flavor. They are also very generous with the ingredients and are not overusing veggies as meal fillers. Not to mention the surprise snacks which literally surprises me every time! *Hello, pinakbet bread!* It’s actually having gourmet meals delivered to you daily. I know gourmet and diet doesn’t belong together but Chef Rob Lau made it happen.

Aside from the Pescatarian plan that I’ve tried, Gourmade also offers the Skinny Down and Keto Diet plans for healthy weightloss options. To know more about Gourmade, you can visit their website at http://www.chefroblau.com or check their instagram @gourmadebychefroblau.
