This post is very random but I just cut my own hair – and I LOVEEE IT! 💇♀️
It’s been more than a year since I had my last haircut because of the pandemic. And to be honest, my hair has been bothering me for quite some time now because it’s been overwhelmingly warm lately.
Yesterday we are on 34°C and I’ve decided I should just do it – cut my own hair, lol.
I watched this tutorial on YouTube and it looked like it’s pretty easy to do – thank you @bebexo! You’ll just need a comb, 3 elastic bands, scissors, and a mirror.
It’s best to watch the full tutorial before doing it but here’s what I did:
- I tied my hair into a low pony tail
- Tied another elastic band below it so the hair would stay in place
- Tied the last elastic band and set it as a marker on where I’ll make the cut
- I just cut my hair straight just right above the last elastic band
- Thinned the ends of my hair by feathering it a little bit
- And, we’re done!
It actually turned out better than I’ve expected! I’m so happy and proud lol that I did it all by myself and everything went well.
