Pupcakes! Peanut Butter & Banana Cupcakes for Dogs

To celebrate Tres and Mika’s birthdays, I made some pupcakes for the doggos! This recipe is very easy to make and the dogs absolutely loved it!

All the ingredients are dog-friendly (no sugar and chocolates), for the cupcakes we’ll need:

  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1 1/2 banana (mashed)
  • 1 egg

For the peanut butter frosting:

  • 120g cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 banana (mashed)

First, we’ll just sift together the dry ingredients: flour and baking powder, and then set aside.

Next, we’ll mix the remaining ingredients in another bowl: mashed banana, peanut butter, and egg.

Mix in the flour mixture and continue to mix until everything is smooth and incorporated.

The mixture should look something like the picture below. Next, we line the cupcake pan or in my case I used these silicone molds and divide the mixture evenly.

Preheat the oven first to 180°C and then bake the cupcakes for 7-10 minutes. I also tried to bake using the air fryer for the first time and I guess it didn’t disappoint.

Ta-daaa we now have our cupcakes!

We’ll now work on the frosting while cooling our cupcakes. Just mix in all ingredients in a bowl: peanut butter, mashed banana, and cream cheese.

Mix everything until smooth.

We’ll now put the frosting in a piping bag together with any decorating tip of your choice.

I added dog treats as toppers for the cupcakes to make it more appetizing to the doggos, we now have our pupcakes!

Curious if my dogs liked it?

They absolutely loved it!

I hope your doggos enjoy this recipe too!
