This is the first international travel that I planned independently! We spent 3 days and 2 nights at Hong Kong. We booked our plane tickets just weeks before the actual flight so our tickets are kinda pricey. Other than that, everything went absolutely fine.
DAY 1 – Times Square, Peak Tram, Enjoying the Hotel
For our Day 1, we did nothing very time consuming – just checked in at the hotel, roamed around establishments, malls and attractions near the hotel. We also visited the Peak Tram and saw mesmerizing city lights from Hong Kong’s highest point!
Day 1 Snaps:
DAY 2 – DISNEYLAND!!!
We spent the whole day at Disneyland and it’s still not enough! Check out my Disneyland blog entry: Happiest Place on Earth
Day 2 Snaps:
DAY 3 – Ngong Ping Village
We kept our last day chill but still fun. We spent our day roaming around Ngong Ping Village – cable car rides and meeting Buddha! We didn’t stick to our itinerary though. I found out that there are paid lockers at a mall near the cable car station so we didn’t bother going back and forth the airport.
Day 3 snaps:
We stayed at Holiday Inn Causeway Bay which was sponsored by our Auntie Lucy (thank you Tita!!). We’re lucky that we don’t have to bother ourselves with the accommodation. And guess what, we got a super nice room and very comfy beds!
For our budget, we spent around 20,000 Php each. I know, still needs improvement on doing the budget because 20,000 Pesos for 3 days is somehow overkill, given that our accommodation is still not included.
Almost all our tickets are booked via Klook! They offer lots of great discounts – food, attractions, transportation, etc.
Here’s a vlog on our Hong Kong trip, enjoy!
